Okay, so the trip was amazing. We had so much fun the whole time. Even during the multiple car rides (most of which we got lost). Coming back from the DCI competition when we were trying to get back to Jill's aunt's house we got lost and took about 2 or 3 hours to get somewhere that should have taken maybe 45 min., 1 hour tops. We got in about 3:30am our time and didn't get to bed until 4am. It was also funny, because no one seemed to care that Dan was going to be sleeping in the same room as us girls. In fact, he even slept between me and Jill, with Q on the end.

Anyways, I'm sure you want to hear how the Corps were, so, here goes:
My favorite show was the Communist Russian show (yes Ben, I took pictures of it for you.) It was amazing. First of all I loved the music, and second of all, their sets were important communist symbols. I was all like "eep! this is so cool!"
The Glassmen show was pretty hip and cool too. They did a modern New World symphony thing. I thought it especially funny when they went into a hip hop section and all acted like they were black.
Phantom had an amazing show. They did American in Paris. They had only one guy in the color guard, and he was the American. It was so cool. The whole corps marching onto the field with umbrellas and he danced with one. And he danced with a cane, and tap danced too. It was amazing.
The Scouts had an alright show. It was cool though because for the first time they let a chick in the corps. She played the main role in their show. They did Carmen, so they definitly needed a girl. It was cool. The guys in guard fought with knifes and stuff on field. It was cool. Course, they ended up killing her, but it was still cool.
The Blue Devils were dissapointing. They had way to much amplification in there show. It was supposed to be a Dance marathon, but it was just kinda dumb. They had too much announcing going on. No fun.
The Cadets drumline did this really cool thing in one of their drumbreaks where instead of playing th break, they sang it. Or beat boxed it. Whatever. It was really cool. They actually ended up winning the whole thing. An upset for the Cavies.

After the Glassmen performed at finals We got to go see Millhaem. Jill was very excited. Eventually Me, Dan, and Q went back up to the Dome to see the rest of the Corps perform. I also got to talk to this kid named Lamar who's in Glassmen, and the OSU drumline. It was cool.

Let's see... Today we went shopping in Circle Center mall. It's really pretty. All of Indy is really pretty, and clean for the most part. I got some flag patches to put on my messinger bag *excitement*. We took Dan into Forever 21. That was funny. I showed him some tight pants and he proclaimed that he too could be hard core and straight edge. :) We also did a bit of sightseeing. We went to the top of the Memorial, where I got thoroughly claustrophobic. And we ate at the Old Spagetti Factory. It was yummy!

During the car ride up we spent the wholr ride listening to songs from various musicals (1776, Suessical). It was a good time. Ont he way home we listened to all sorts of stuff (System of a Down, Sum 41, Greenday, Third Eye Blind, DMB, oldies, and musicals). We made really good time coming home. It was nice. There was horrible wreck though right outside Indy. A van was face first into a semi. The whole drivers side front of the van was torn off/crushed. Lucky for us it was on the other side of the highway, but they still had to divert some traffic for us. On the other side all 5 or 6 lanes were closed. And for who knows how long. But it was a bad wreck. During the drive I got used to the corn field scenery. It even started growing on me a bit.

All and all, it was a fun trip. Amazing. All you kids who are in band, have fun! >:) We should get to gether for lunch sometime this week. And amybe dinner if you feel up to it next week. Give me a call!

More good news! I may very well be getting a sweet, lovable, beautiful little black kitten. We have 4 of them living in my back yard. They are so cute. I asked if I could keep one and right now my parents are leaning towards yes. I'm so excited. They are definitly okay with him being an outside cat it seems like right now. But I do really want an inside cat. So I'm aiming for Mr. Kitty to be allowed to have one room. I really hope it works out. I'm scared for the little guys living outside right now.

That's all for now. Ciao!
