Library of DOOM!!!

Holy gods! I've found something worse than inventory... It's goes by the name of (bumbumbum) Shelf Reading (tm).  It involves staring at the books on the shelf and making sure that each set of books is in volume order, and that the sets themselves are in call number order.  And mostly there is nothing to do but star at them, because you only do something if one is out of order.  You put it where it should go.  The worst part is, because the shelves are so tall you can remain either sitting or standing, you must stand up and down and deal with the blood rushing to your head and feeling like you will soon pass out.  And then there's the boredom issue.  I mean, you're staring at shelves full of books for hours on end.  And then there's the feeling really really dumb part of it, because you're, well, staring at shelves full of books for hours on end.  And even good music does little to save you from the terrible fate of Murderous Insanity (tm)!  *bashes face into afore mentioned shelves of books*  I really hope there are more runs to make tomorrow.  I might just die if I spend my four hour shift staring at the same shelves I and the other girls stared at today...
