Halfway Done With Camp Today

Yesterday we went to the Loveland Castle to train. It was a good time. Hot outside, but a good time. We trained in the garden on the tiers. I took pictures all day yesterday and today. I'll have a few posted on my photobucket sometime in the near future. We started off class yesterday with weapons. I learned Bo Kata Chodan. It's the first bo form. It's fun.
After class I went on a double with Ben (obviously) and Nate and Jackie. We went climbing at Rock Quest, which was tiring for me and Naate, considering we'd already had a whole day of camp. Then we went to go eat Mongolian food. It was wonderful and amazing, as usual. Then we headed back and I dropped off Nate and Jackie and his house, and me and Ben came back to my house. We watched a little bit of Martial Arts on TV. They were doing breaking and forms to music. It was really cool. But Ben got tired of it. He said it was too much like watching anime. Kinda sad, but we switched to Two Weeks Notice, which is an alright movie. I dunno why, but I was in a weird skittich and shy mood. *shrugs*. I was really tired too.
Anyways, today at camp we took away the noodles because yesterday the kids turned to the darkside. They were striking eachother down with hate instead of with love. Mr. Trusty freaked out and had us do forms for the rest of class. So we had to come up with other plans today. I taught about and hour and a half of gymnastics and tumbling. It was interesting. I was nervouse at first, being handed 15 kids and told "Teach." But it went well. I taught forward and backward rolls, back bends, bridges, handstands, handstand forward rolls, cartwheels and roundoff. Crumley was prolly the best of all the kids at it. I think it was mostly because he has like no fear. Besides him, the girls had a much easier time off it. I also had a bunch of the kids making embroidery floss bracelets. They had a good time of it. We also watched the first Ninja Turtles movie. That was fun and funny.
I talked to Mr. Trusty after class. He pretty much said he's grooming me to be a black belt instructor. He said as long as I get my black belt through SMAA that he'd be happy to welcome me to the team of instructors. I'm also allowed to start coming to Tuesday night weapons class with Miss O'Donnell to start learning bo. Like actually learning and keeping up with practicing. I want to get a bo staff that is actaully my size. That means 5'6" instead of 6' something". I love the one Mr. Correll gave me for graduation, but it is too tall for me and it's really pretty. I don't wanna get it all messed up, you know.
Tomorrow I'm hanging out with Ben. And Friday I am too, sometime after my test. Yeah, I'm testing for my first tip on my orange belt on Friday. That's exciting because it means that I don't have to sit through that long 5 hour test. Although, if I can (I might not be able to because of work) I'm still going to go to take pictures and stuff.
That's all for now guys. Ciao!
