Weekend update

skylark913So, we went down to Lake Cumberland this weekend. Just me and my parents. There were mixed moments and feelings. The way down was alright. I worked on fixing up all the pictures I took all week at camp. I finished them all and now I just need to send them to Mr. Trusty and Grandmaster. However, once we got the boat on the water Dad started making fun of me. ...He made fun of me for eating as soon as we got down there... I get kind of mixed confused feelings about that. I dunno... I guess I do eat a bit much sometimes. *shrugs*
The water was kinda cold, but it was bearable. I was really tired, so sleeping should ahve been easy, but it wasn't. Not really. I watched the stars for awhile before I fell asleep. For breakfast we had the usual eggs and fried bagels. It was alright, not as good as usual. I wasn't that hungry. We went skiing after that. It was good. I do really like skiing. I took some pictures off Mom and Dad skiing, and Dad took a few of me. We played some Hand and Foot. other than that, not much happened.
Yesterday I hung out with Ben. He's on vacation now, and I won't see him for maybe a week and a half. He comes back next Sunday. Hopefully he'll be back in time for the St. Columban festival.
I hung out with Nate and Thom today when we got home. Nate said no one worth getting was home. So we just walked around the neighborhood for awhile and then ended up at my house. We played on the swings for awhile and just kinda talked. I feel like me and Nate are becoming a little better friends. I think part of it is because we've been hanging out more recently. And another part of it is because I've become a bit more mature because of taekwondo. It's nice. Especially with Ben out of town, it gives me someone to hang out with.
However I've decided that I need more friends who are girls. And the friends I do have who are girls I need to start hanging out with more.
