This week was Homecoming week. Not nearly so interesting as highschool homecoming, but I did get to be in the parade. I borrowed garb from...someone. The bodice was Lauren's (thank you lauren) and i'm not sure about the skirts and chemise (thank you whoever). I brought my tambourine and had a hard time keeping a beat one-handed while walking (to long since marching band). Then as my arms starting getting tired I let Jeff play (he knew what was going on anyways). We sang songs and whatnot, it got more fun the further we went, mostly because I was feeling more comfortable. We danced after the parade, which was fun. I like doing that. Afterwards we went to Steak-n-Shake. Yums. Although it made me miss home a lot. And miss all my band friends. I made Cathy an origami rose out of the placement. Now I'm back in my room. We're going down to Issac's room to watch movies. I'm really down right now. I don't really know why. I've been down for a few days now. I've also been feeling really skittish and twitchy, and just generally scared. I don't know what's going on. Last night was a no good night for sleeping. I had bad dreams and just a bad time sleeping peacefully.
At tangsoodo yesterday we were doing one step drills. And now my arm is swollen and black and blue from block after block after block. It's kinda how my pole-vaulting bruise was, nicew and egg sized and shaped, but this one hurts a lot more. It was a nice catharsis though. I guess it helped a little with how I've been feeling.
I'm off to watch The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Ciao.
