Family Weekend

This weekend is Friends and Family Weekend. Mom and Dad came up. We went grocery shopping and got lots of food and junk food and all sorts of yummies and snackies. Then we went to Applebee's and I got a good meal. It was wonderful. We came back up to my room and unloaded all that stuff. Mom and Dad met Lauren. I tried to explain to them how I'd found what I think is a good friend base in the Rennie crowd. Mom like freaked out. I don't even know why. She was like "wait, they think they're living in the past?" "No Mom, it's a Performer's Guild" "Guild, what's that?" seemed like she thought it was like a cult or something "it's a club. We put on a Madrigal Feast in February and a Faire on May 6th" She just seemed leery about everything. Dad understood methinks, or at least didn't care one way or the other. I invited them to the Feast and the Faire. So maybe they'll come up and won't be so weirded out. *shrugs* We went shopping for warm clothes too. Be proud, I got my first fitted hoody ever. *grins* I got another hoody too and some long sweat/pajama pants that are all fleecy and a long sleeved shirt. comfy and warm! They left at about 7 or 7:30. Something like that. Nicole and people are going to a haunted house tonight, then they're coming back and going clubbing at Long Street. I'm gonna go with methinks and be the DD. It should be a really fun time. Or at the very least, something to do. Anyways, that's all for now, Ciao!
